When does the walleye / musky / bass / pike season open?

-Walleye fishing opens on the third Saturday of May.
-Musky fishing opens on the third Saturday of June.
-Northern pike fishing is open year-round.
-Smallmouth bass fishing is open year-round.

However between December 1 and June 30 there are reduced catch limits and maximum size limits to protect and conserve the spawning population.
